Philippines 2005 December 1 to 15
Grandad took us to the Airport (Gatwick) and stayed long enough for us to have a coffee together. The traffic around the M25 was already quite bad. Hope he got home OK.....

40 hours later and after a long sleep in the hotel "Cebu View" here we are relaxing waiting for the speed boat to Tagbilaran where Victor the Taxi driver was waiting for us.
Arrived at last. The beach has not changed much but there are some new buildings going up.
Of course Neil and Tom have some admirers happy to look after them.
Saint Nicolas exists even in the Philippines....
But he had to keep the load light to be able to make it 12000KMs to Bohol.
He found our house OK though. Bit more classy than last year...
Tom has started his Open Water diver again this year and with the extra years maturity and special mask to cover his ears he is flying through the course.
Neil is keen to start too, but he has to be eight to start. Another few years to go.
Tom is also helpull on the dinghy
Only two dives to go. Tom has done all the confined water skills 'les doits dans les nez" and two dives. The exam is done but needs marking.
The weather has been much the same as last year. Mainly good but sometimes downpours and wind.
Snack supplied by the sea, urchins. Tom says like oysters...
